the 2017 RESEARCH theme: Wearable UX

Open Style Lab aims to pave the way for socially conscious, user-centered design in wearable technology. We know that the technology exists not just to help healthy people to track how healthy they are, but truly address existing health and wellness needs. The 2017 program dives deeper into the complexity of the dressing experience and our immediate surroundings such as, commuting from work to home. The act of wearing was examined through a variety of methods such as integrating seasonal fashion trends, concepts of user experience design and applied technologies (AR/ 3D printing).
