Teacher, speaker, beauty advocate, and blogger Xian Horn. Born with  Cerebral Palsy, she shares her incredible energy with others through her Give Beauty Wings’ Self-Esteem programs that originated and continue at NYU's Initiative for Women with Disabilities, the JCC, and others. She was named in Women's eNews 21 Leaders for the 21st Century in 2017. She blogs for Women@Forbes and served as exemplar for AT&T's ConnectAbility Challenge in 2015. Her disability manifests in muscle tension, muscle weakness, poor balance and coordination and a left foot that drags. She walks with two canes for balance which means my hands are occupied. She worked with her team to create a coat that “gave her wings.”

I walk with two canes for balance which means my hands are occupied. So having clothing or tech that considers these needs is a Godsend!
