Research Theme

The 2017 research program dives deeper into the complexity of the dressing experience and our immediate surroundings such as, commuting from work to home. The act of wearing was examined through a variety of methods, such as integrating seasonal fashion trends, concepts of user experience design and applied technologies (AR/3D-printing). Special attention was focused on collaborators with spinal cord injury or damage (SCI/D) and the designs centered on mobility in regard to traveling or commuting.
