OSL Summer Program

In collaboration with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), the 2020 OSL program aimed to a create clothing hacks with series of tutorial videos. This process was completely remote with a few select tools, which were shipped for collaborative making. Skills and knowledge in digital media, CAD rendering software, design visuals, photography, videography and fashion were emphasized for researchers.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) - For more than 70 years, MDA has been committed to saving and improving the lives of kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy and related life-threatening diseases. OSL and MDA collaborated with 30 participants - researchers and people with muscular dystrophy. This year’s partnership was supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.
